Folks – Just a quick note to you on today’s action.
Today’s a day to go shopping – and I’m not talking about Black Friday TV’s.
There is limited information on this new strain of Covid. No one is sure, but so far there are no indications that this latest variant of Covid-19 is going to be any more resistant to current vaccines as the last two (Beta and Delta), both of which caused similar angst. But this remains to be seen.
But what seems already clear is that this strain is again being transmitted and caught by the unvaccinated.
We are in an entirely different place with the array of vaccines that are available than we were a year ago when they were not. And who knows? Maybe the new fear of a more transmissible strain will get the 40% of – well, let’s call them free spirits — to get vaccinated.
In all cases, it seems to me that this fast drop in oil and oil stocks is why we keep so much cash on hand.
